Our Affiliate Event went really well yesterday, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely!

We made £404 in total (approx.US$634), so with 75% going to Equality Now and 25% going to Nottingham Rape Crisis Centre this means £303 (approx.US$475) to Equality Now and £101 (approx.US$158) to Nottingham Rape Crisis Centre!!

The weather held off - just- and many people came in costume (will post some pics later). The BBQ was a success, there was some fantastic live music and the cakes sold like hot...cakes.

We finished up by watching 'Dr Horrible' with nearly the whole audience singing along and laughing at Billy's misfortunes... A good time was had by all, comments such as 'Epic night. Epic pub. Total win' and 'Mudder's Milk, singing and great costumes - well done, Beeston Browncoats & the Johnson Arms, the event was great!'.

Some pics - myself and wife in costume (we are the Beeston Browncoats) and some attendees at the pub (Lorne won the costume prize on the night). We're waiting on a few more pics from the event, then will share them on the flickr pages :-)
