Nashville, TN/Scottsville, KY August 9-11

Its time for WhedonFest 2013! Come to our little cabins in the woods in Scottsville KY, just an hour and change north of Nashville and a couple of hours South of Louisville to enjoy a weekend of fan oriented charity screenings , group discussions, auctions and raffles to benefit Can't Stop the Serenity! Starting Friday and going thru Sunday morning, interact with fellow fans of all the works of Joss Whedon. Meals and group lodging included in the $135 per person cost. WhedonFest 2013 is in the bag. Due to some rampant illness before the event, we had several people who could not attend, so our numbers are down, but those who did attend had a good time and Mikey Mason put on a great show. Finalizing the numbers over the next few days, but I can already report we raised a few hundred, despite having not covered our costs before arriving on site.

OK. The final numbers are in, we may have lost an extender plate on re-entry, but we ended up raising a little something for the charities after all!
