Obtaining a registration is very important. It doesn't take that much time and it gives CSTS time to double check venues and licenses. We verify these things so Browncoats can be sure that these events are doing it for our charities. We have no reason to doubt Johnny's integrity at all, he's been a good friend to us. But there have been bad actors in the past and if the rules apply to one they must apply to all. Take the time to register, we'll set aside a big ass box of swag for you. Dave

No, there will be no screening in SF this year.

According to the CSTS guidelines:
"For events to be held in September – Registration closes 31 July 2013"
It seems I have 2 full days.

I've given it some thought and decided I will do it again this year. I just turned in my registration paperwork. Sept 14th is still on!

FYI, most of the cost ($1,500+) come right out of my own wallet and whatever is raised is very small. It seems it would make more sense to just donate that money to CSTS instead of throwing the event.

After asking a LOT of people, I finally got my #2 person. It seems nobody is interested in taking on this responsibility.
