Screening of Serenity at Leeds Metropolitan University. Doors open at 6 for a 6.30 start. Then to The White Swan for drinks, raffle, quiz & an auction from 9pm.

Thanks Lioness! yes we do. We're very sad to hear that Doubleshiny has had to cancel her event in Liverpool.  We are probably the next closest one, so please support us by buying a ticket or donating. We've got loads of shiny prizes and things to buy from Jayne style hats, Joss Whedon signed program, patches, comics, posters to name a few! Cap'n M |

| We did the impossible and it made us mighty! we had 57 turn up with 11 no shows. About 6 people bought on the door. We had to abandon the quiz due to the noise levels in the pub  We learnt alot for next year. All in all, it went very well and apart from initial tech problems with the DVD and Bluray not playing  it got sorted and went well. I couldn't have asked for a better crew. They were gorram wonderful! I'm awaiting my treasurer to confirm the final fundraising amount- but it appears pretty darn healthy! Bring on 2014... |
