Charlotte, NC - Affiliate event - Sun, June 30th

Tue Apr 16, 2013 4:20 pm

For 2013, Charlotte Browncoats along with the Charlotte Geeks will host an affiliate event to benefit Equality Now.

On Sunday, June 30th, we will all see Joss Whedon's Much Ado About Nothing at a matinee showing at a local theater. After the movie, we will convene at a nearby restaurant.
We will give away some door prizes. We'll raffle some exceptionally shiny items. And pass the hat for Equality Now.

The exact time and location has yet to be determined. Once we find out definitively where the movie will be screened, that will be announced.

Keep track of details at our FB page:
www.facebook.com/groups/141411745992454/
Or the Charlotte Geeks Meetup page:
www.meetup.com/The-Charlotte-Geeks/
And soon information should be available at:
www.charlottebrowncoats.org

Each attendee will be responsible for purchasing their own movie ticket. Matinee prices should be lower than normal. Dinner may be a buffet or pay-your-own.

It is such a good movie! I was lucky enough to see it in Toronto and everyone in the audience loved it.

Here's the deets:

Much Ado About Nothing is showing at the Regal Manor Twin in Charlotte. Address is:
609 Providence Road
Charlotte, NC 28207

We'll see the 2:15p matinee showing. There is parking in the lot behind the theater. We recommend pre-purchasing your tickets. There is a good chance it will sell out.
