Hi folks

I know that Ottawa hasn't been part of CSTS for a few years now, but we just had our event this past weekend, and thought I should report in (I'm the main event sponsor and one of the members of the organizing committee). For the third year in a row, the amount of money we raised has grown, setting a new record this year.

We've heard that there are rumblings of CSTS considering opening up to different distributions of donations (with obvious different levels of support from CSTS that would come with that).

We sent 75% of what we raised to a local charity that does technology mentoring for women, and 25% to Equality Now, and plan to keep this up. We'd love to come back to CSTS, if the policy changes.
