Shadowcasting

[list=][/list] is it really against the rules to have any type of shadowcasting at a csts event? The local group organizer says it is can someone please advise?

It depends on what you are shadowcasting. Something you wrote? No problem.
If it is Dr. Horrible, The Guild, Serenity, any of the other things we have permission to show, or in the case of Serenity, have paid for a license, then no, no shadowcasting is allowed.

Thanks makes sense but the group was just going to dress in costume and interact with the audience

If they are performing the film/video in any way,using the dialogue, then no, because it is considered a performance. Cosplay isn't a problem.
