If you're were interested in seeing Browncoats: Redemption, the fan made followup to Serenity, at Dragon*Con you might want to change your flight plans. Somehow the Whedonverse track people have schduled the movie premiere in the absolute last slot of the absolute last day of the convention--when many people will be heading home from a long Labor Day weekend: . That's right, Monday September 6th at 11:30am. On top of this inconvenience, there isn't even a panel for Browncoats: Redemption. Giving fans of Firefly the opportunity to see shiny new content on the big screen--without cutting into their tight holiday travel plans--is apparently not that important to the Whedonverse Track organizers.
However, if you'd like to see and discuss the premiere of the much anticipated Browncoats: Redemption, email or message the Whedonverse Track Director, Wayne Hutchinson, and ask him to find a better date and time for the movie and a panel.

Hopefully, with enough voices the powers-that-be will listen to what the fans want.

Talk about a kick in the teeth. How long do you have to be on DragonCon's radar to get a good spot...? Sheesh.
