Who's going?

I might be going with the Austin Browncoats. Not 100% sure yet. We will be just fan outreach (no booth), but I would probably hang out at the QMx booth as well. Who knows!

I've got my tickets, and my accomodation is sorted! Now I've just got to organise flights and make sure I have lots of cashy money to spend at the California Browncoats booth!

Barring catching a well-timed cancelation on the hotel site later on, I'll be at the Westin San Diego, the tenth choice on the list of twelve I submitted this morning. Not nearly what I'd prefer, but closer than the backup/fallback hotel I reserved weeks ago.

I'm going and think I'm staying with friends.

CSTS Vancouver 2015 will be held Saturday, June 20th from Noon to 6:00 pm at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. Donations will go to Equality Now (75%) and Avalon Women's Centre (25%).

Ack! I better get organised and book my flight then! Thank goodness for getting a new contract that's perfectly timed to end just before I leave and that pays well.

I can't believe it's been 4 years since I left Vancouver, and 3 since I was last in the US! It'll be good to see everyone again.

We're planning a whole season of events in Melbourne, about 5-6 in total with our main event (our Serenity screening) in late August. So when I fly out, we'll have hopefully wrapped up 2 of our CSTS events. Another will take place while I'm O/S, and then our main event kicks off about 3 weeks after I return. I'm hoping to bring back lots of goodies from Comic-Con for our main event!
