The founder/organiser of the BC Browncoats is an excellent - and very fast knitter - and loves making Jayne's hat and thinking up other ways to use the design. For the past three years she has made mini-Jayne's hat pins which I have managed to distribute over a large area of North America, including to Felicia Day and Shawna Trpcic at last year's Comic-Con.

I am also the proud possessor or a Jayne's hat tea cosy, a Jayne's hat Christmas ornament and two hot pads in Jayne's hat colours. On Saturday at our CSTS meeting, a couple of us joked that a Jayne's hat would look good in the bathroom and I suggested a toilet paper cover. Tuesday I received an e-mail with this picture. I thought you all would appreciate it.

I have a Jayne hat cell phone cozy, which I won in the PDXBC raffle two years ago. Can't remember who made it, though.

Serena did make a cell phone cover for herself - also cup warmers on request. Incidentally, the first baby hat she made was for a baby named Inara!! :)

I've fixed the link now. She made a toilet paper holder. I think I'm getting one for my birthday. (I asked even though it will clash with my green bathroom). :D

Does that make them hat pads? Bwahahahahaha! *ahem*

That is adorable and I've seen those pins up close and they are awesome!

Well, if you're at Comic-Con and can find me, I might just be able to give you a mini-pin of your own.

Sounds like my daughter her first baby hat was Jayne's Hat and her middle name is Inara :)
I'll have to scan the photo of her wearing her newborn sized " I Aim To Misbehave" shirt too..lol
