Sorry for the lack of updates. I've been lost in a sea of crafting and list-making.
We are making keyrings and magnets (or will be when the stuff arrives off ebay. Starting to get a little close to the wire now) and I've just finished wrestling with glue in the process of making earrings (Not a great picture). The cups are turning out to be far more problematic than anticipated, but they will eventually say "Sereni-tea" on one side, and "CSTS 2014" the other side.
I've got a bunch of lovely friends and friends of friends making us one-off pieces for the silent auction. We're also doing a mystery box - because everyone loves a mystery box
For the raffle we have a t-shirt on the way (again cutting it a bit close) and we have a Richard Castle novel. We're also going to be raffling off the banners we had made, because the logo will change next year so we'll need new banners anyways.
Our quiz is made up of Firefly/Serenity/Whedonverse questions, but also general sci-fi questions to be a bit more inclusive; plus we're going to have a modeling round, where people have to design the best spaceship they can in Play-Doh.
We can't do Ice Planets due to the sheer awkwardness of them, so we're making cake-pops and calling them Mini Ice Planets.
Hopefully we'll be able to update again on the eve of the event, and we'll be taking plenty of pictures on the day, so we'll post them up here then
