In our seventh year running,
Can't Stop the Serenity-Orange County presented
SERENITY and
Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, with a live auction and prize drawings on Saturday, Sept. 20. When all was said and done, we had raised
$1352.47 to donate to Equality Now! Big thanks to our Browncoat audience and
amazing volunteers Ben, Dwight, John, Kelly, Lorelei, Shawn, Susie, and Tabin.
The California Browncoats, Inc. http://www.californiabrowncoats.org provided a huge amount of logistical support for CSTS-OC. CSTS-OC just would not happen without them. If anyone is interested in presenting a CSTS event in California, you should definitely talk to them. They hosted the event website, provided advance ticket sales processing, credit card capability at the event, staffing support, and more.
The venue,
Starplex Cinemas Woodbridge Movies 5 is a great theater in Irvine, CA where, as usual, we were treated very well. Thanks especially to John at the Woodbridge Movies 5 for taking care of us. Starplex HQ worked with us to make the event most cost effective and maximize our donation (Thanks Starplex!)
Big Thanks to our generous donors and supporters:
