Howdy folks,
Not gonna lie, I'm both weirded out and happy that I can't find any events happening in San Diego. Home of Comic-Con....really?? lol Anyways that beings said, I'm happy because I want to host one myself!
I have lived in San Diego for 2 years now and in that time have played host to many a house party through the MeetUp site so I know we can handle a good sized crowd if it comes to that. We have 2 large living areas and a large backyard filled with fruit trees(don't get too excited, there's this drought thing happening) a fire pit for bonfires and a large gas grill.
SO!! Let's do this thing! Like I stated previously, home of Comic-Con, should be PLENTY of Browncoats out there. BUT I'd like this to be more than just a screening! I'm picturing in my head an all day event that could start around midday with games, we'll have a raffle going, build a spaceship(just kidding), actually that's where YOU come in! Help me with your creativity and experience with this and come up with some unique activities, or let's steal some really popular ones from the other events. "So, what are we doing? Crime!
I'm talking too much so I'll end this post here and see what comes of it. I work a lot so if my replies are late that's why. OH! My work has something to do with this too! I work in advertising and marketing so feel like we could promote this in some unique ways! I don't know how that looks quite yet but just throwing that out there

EDIT: I just tried submitting my Expression of Interest but it looks like that isn't possible without having someone for the Second Organizer role. I guess I'm in search of a First Mate! Accepting applications now! Will I pick you? Might do, might do
