NERD NIGHT in NEWTOWN is proud to annouce our inaugural event will be a "Can't Stop the Serenity" fundraising event for Equality Now and the Mary Hawley Society on Sunday, on September 6th, 5:30-10:30pm. Tickets will be available online SOON.

Join us at the Edmond Town Hall, just shy of the Flagpole on Newtown's historic Main Street!

The Plan so for...
Geek & Sundry and assorted other content at 6pm.
CosPlay Parade at 6:30
Screening Dr. Horrible at 7pm.
Screening Serenity at 8pm.

We will be hosting a CosPlay contest - registration starts @ 5:30, the winners will be announced at the end of the show, and are invited to ride on the Newtown Arts Commission Float in the Labor Day Parade!
(please be aware - that while we all think Vera is truly heroic, she and her friends will not be allowed inside the venue.)

Raffles, Merchandise, and Refreshments will be available throughout the event.

We hope to see you all there, please feel free to send advice, ideas and encouragement (and maybe a few good jokes) our way! As newbies I think we'll need the lot.

-Stay Shiny,
Laurie, Michael and Jerusha Wright
