Seattle has achieved Serenity!

We just like doin' good works. 
Quick report for now - Both shows had a decent amount of attendees, about 125 per show. No sell out of the theater but we did run out of the special commerative tickets and had to send someone to Kinko's to make more copies which we promptly ran out of again! The crowds were VERY enthusiastic and involved in the movie and enjoyed the 'super secret thingy' with Nathan and the NE Browncoats. Before the second show, we asked for a show of hands for anyone who hadn't yet seen the movie and there were about a dozen people. Recruitment of more Browncoats is an ongoing job.
Surprisingly, half our ticket sales were walkups for both shows and many of them brought the non-perishable items for Northwest Harvest food bank so that we filled two large boxes of donations.
Browncoats are some of the shiniest folk in the 'Verse.
Our raffle baskets were chock full of goodies and the raffle tickets sold quite well. We'll have a better idea later this week of the dollar amounts once we can count admission ticket sales and raffle sales and although we won't have as large a donation as last year, we'll not be last in line either.
A big Xie Xie to the PDX Browncoats who made the 3 hour drive up to see the movie! You guys rock! When I come down there, the first round of drinks is on me.

Congrats, Traevynn! It sounds like a great event. We definitely need to stagger our events next time.
