"Do you really think any of us are going to survive this?"

WELL I MIGHT!!!

And I did!

Raleigh did two screenings this year, on Sunday and Monday, June 22 and 23. Both nights we had free goody bags & door prizes, raffles, souvenir sales, a "Serenity" movie prop on display, and "Mal's shooting gallery."

You can't tell, but the cans, boxes and bottles had Blue Sun, Fruity Oaty Bar and Chinese labels. Two of the beer bottles were "Two-by-Two Brew" with a Blue Hand logo, and Mudders Milk.

Sunday we had a costume contest, with the "Audience favorite" prize going to the Dinosaur who was carrying Jayne and Mal action figures. First place went to a disturbingly realistic-looking Reaver. Monday we had a trivia contest, awarded a trophy for that, and we had a singalong. We also celebrated by having a big birthday party for Joss, with cake and shiny hats (like the king of all Londinium), dinosaur stickers and glow-in-the-dark celestial pin wheels.
