Hi guys. My name is Mandy and I'm from Memphis. My friend Famin told me I should join these boards. She got me interested in Firefly during last year's CSTS. She was always talking about it and I'd never heard of it. When I found out there would be a screening in my city, I made sure to watch Firefly before the screening and saw The Big Damn Movie on the big damn screen. I'm a Jayne girl if that tells you anything about my crazy side... :twisted:

I'm excited about it coming up again this year, but I don't think we're having a showing here. I've tried to contact the Mid-South Browncoats but haven't heard back from them. I'm really glad that Nashville is thinking about having their first showing and me and my friend plan on making the trip to see it there if we don't have one here.

It's nice to meet you! ::shakes cyber hand:: I will check with the gal who is suppose to be covering the Mid-South Browncoats while I'm covering as Global Organizer this year. I apologize that no one has gotten back to you. I can tell you we are planning on having a Dr. Horrible screening and affiliated event and news of that should go up in next couple weeks. Of course we are also pledged in a sisterly city sort of way to help make Nashville rock.

Feel free to email me at anne@cantstoptheserenity if you'd like to help out with the Memphis affiliated event. We're always looking for good people to help us. WHOOT! :mrgreen:

Hi Anne! :Shakes hand: I'd love to do anything to help out with anything either in Memphis or Nashville. Is Memphis planning an event? I think the Dr. Horrible screening would rock! Last year, I gave my information to the people doing the event but never heard back from them. I know how time gets away and by the time you know it, it's so much later in the year. Anyway, I'm willing to do anything to help out!
