I moved from Toronto to London, Ontario two years ago and now it's about time I accepted that I'm not in the big city anymore and that it's much easier to attend events close to home. Toronto is only two and a half hours away but that's a lot of driving to attend an evening shindig or even a day event. So time to look at London and see if we can pull off a screening or at least an affiliate event for 2011. Any Londoners (Ontario) that is who would like to see something in the forest city let me know.

I agree Christine!
We had our screening last night at Brave New World Comics, and while we didn't sell out, with merch sales, we did well. I'll have totals to post shortly.
It was a lot of fun. Folks seemed to not mind a somewhat wrinkled projection screen (that was actually a large vinyl banner hung in the store front window) and that the chairs were not cushy.
It was also a great way to help promote a family business in my community to my Browncoat friends.
