Hello from Rio Grande Valley, Texas

I, and a few other Browncoats, are located in the Rio Grande Valley, which is in Deep South Texas along the US/Mexico border.

We have been Firefly/Serenity fans for quite some time now and have been toying with starting a screening here since about a year or two after the first screenings started. I was on the mailing lists back when the group was still small enough to contain itself through a Yahoo Group, but didn't move over to this website since we had not had the opportunity to do a screening, that is, until now.

My husband and I, and quite a few friends, have been talking more and more about possibly doing a screening that would benefit a local woman's shelter and advocacy group, and so obviously the first step is to sign up here! The next step will be to gather up my crew!

Looking forward to getting all this started and getting to meet others on this forum!

Welcome. Read up on what you need to do a screening and when you are all ready, let us know. We have long time organizers waiting to take your call!
That is, there is a lot of expertise out there and there are people ready to share and help you through. The Organizers forum will have lots of good information but we also supply someone on a one to one basis if you want and need someone.
Yeah, the Yahoo group kept going for a while but this turned out to work better for most people.
