I'm a French Browncoat. I'd like to set up a Can't Stop the Serenity event for 2015 in Paris (the 10 years anniversary of the movie's release seems a good time for that), so I'll probably have a series of stupid questions to ask on the forums during the next months :).

I know CSTS happened once in France, in 2007, but I couln'd manage to get the names of the organizers or a way to contact them. If anyone here has the info and can share it with me, it would be great!

Welcome! Next year is our 10th anniversary and it would be great to have an event in France!
Sadly, we lost all our data from the first couple of years so there is no contact information. But I can tell you that it was still called "Serenity Now-Equality Now" in case that helps!

The Beeston Browncoats in the UK are more than happy to assist our Browncoat colleagues over the channel. Hope we can help you organise something for CSTSX (Can't Stop the Serenity 10) :-)

Hi everyone.

We took a little time to launch the stuff, but we are on track.
I'm Vaaahn, one of the french browncoat that want to set a CSTS in Paris with Ash_Crow.

We are in the early organisation stuff and I am here for the stupid questions.
The first, and the toughest one is about the date.
As it is our first year (except the one in 2007, but that's a bit old now), we don't know how much people we can gather, so we thought using a big convention would be interesting. Either projecting in it, or using it to promote the event/sell tickets and doing the event near it.

Sadly, the only interesting french event are :

As all the crew is in Paris, the first one would be perfect, but we can also have some contacts with the Nantes one, so it's a tie.

But I suppose that you already manage to find what is my question : those 2 convention are after the last date for the event (between 1 April & 15 Oct 2015). I saw in the forum that it may be possible to extend that date in order to have our event, for example, the 23, 24, 30 or 31 of October.
Is it true? If so, I suppose that there are specific conditions that we would have to fulfill, so what would they be?
In addition, the film came out in theater the 19 October 2005, so that would great for the event promotion being close to the anniversary date :D

Thanks in advance for the answers!

We have the 15th of October because it takes a while for events to get their money in and we need to get everything finished by the end of the year.
And the CSTS Global crew need a break!

But send an email to and we can discuss it.

Hi, some news !

The screening will take place on the 10th of October at the Bibliothèque Louise Michel, a public library in the 20th arrondissement of Paris.

As this is a public library, we cannot charge people for entrance, so we decided to fund the event and the donation to Equality Now through a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo : ... 484#/story

Please, spread the word around you! As this is the first CSTS in France since 2007, there are probably many French Browncoats that have not heard from us yet.

Also, some of you might be interested to participate : amongst the goodies for the donators, we have created a couple of exclusive ones, like this shiny teddy or this mug "Green Sun" (a mashup of the well known Blue Sun and Soylent Green... Two big producers of "protein meals" in their respective universes ;)), a perfect fit for your "soylent" protein drinks (with a taste as chocolaty as possible, of course !)
