1 INT. A DIMLY LIT INNER CITY YMCA GYM. THERE ARE MISMATCHED FOLDING CHAIRS SET UP IN A LOOSE CIRCLE. A FOLDING TABLE STANDS NEARBY COVERED IN SUGARY CONFECTIONS, DAY OLD DONUTS AND PLASTIC JUGS OF PRIMARY COLORED BEVERAGES.

WILLIAM who has failed to introduce himself properly, sits among a loose demographic of people wearing hawaiian shirts, mechanic jumpsuits, dresses and homespun shirts with suspenders. He appears uncomfortable, but is encouraged to stand and introduce himself to the others. At first, he hesitates. Then, with a nudge from a man wearing a Cerberus shirt and Jayne hat, William stands up.

WILLIAM:
Hello. Um...my name is William and I'm a Browncoat.

EVERYONE:
Hello, William!

WILLIAM:
Hi. It's been...almost a week since I last watched Firefly.

WILLIAM drops down into his chair and sobs into his hands.

Welcome William! You're in a good place. Here's a copy of Firefly... and there's a comfy couch and large screen TV in the back room. Make yourself comfortable, and enjoy the show! :D

And so...far from helping William kick his addiction, he is lead by the hand into the pit of fandom, never to return.

I'll make popcorn.

I watched four episodes yesterday, with no end in site. I'm starting to notice little things now, like the goggles Mal wears when cutting the storage room door in Bushwacked.

I have those exact goggles.

Little things?....
How about....
Just in the pilot episode...

On the anti-aircraft gun targeting computer....in the top middle.... I believe that's a
Weyland Utani Logo... They owned the Nostromo and Ripley worked for them... they were also represented by Wolfram and Hart according to Angel.

Continuity error...when it switches to Mal getting in position to blow the door..you can see the "sticky" already around the lock behind him...Then he turns and asks Jayne for the "sticky"...its not there anymore until he puts it there.

When Inara's shuttle is docking with Serenity..that's an Imperial Shuttle from Star Wars taking off behind her.
