It took us awhile to get a final figure and then I was waiting for the Canadian dollar to gain ground against the U.S. dollar but we finally got the money off to Equality Now. I am very pleased to say that we sent $5,700.00 to EN. It was well over $6,000 Cdn which sounds even better but what can you do?
Reading about so many cities' troubles with their cinemas, I am grateful again that our theatre this year gave us such a great deal. I thanked them with cookies the following week - an idea from Samatwitch, I believe.
