I just became a fan of Firefly Serenity a few weeks ago, which up until then I didn't know exist, and I would love to catch a screening of it with some pals of mine, but being that we're all starving college students, we were wondering if there as anything close to or in Manhattan New York? The IFC Center runs a lot of similar screenings and whatnot, so that seems like a pretty good place to start in terms of getting a nearby venue. |

There will definitely be an event in Manhattan. We are working it out, nothing is set in stone just yet. As soon as things are finalized we'll have an announcement. Best place to check is http://www.BrowncoatsofNYC.org Cheers! JB |

I apologize for being so quiet folks, but we've been hard at work trying to make sure this extravaganza goes off as well as we imagine. We have 3 ticket levels $35 - Passenger - Includes Dinner, Dancing, Entertainment, Auction & Door Prizes! $50 - Crew - Also includes free swag $75 - Captain - Also includes a special tshirt just for our Captains Of course the more expensive tickets also represent more money for Equality Now Tickets are available through Brown Paper Tickets http://tinyurl.com/csts2009nyc Ticket fees are minimal, and BPT is a not for profit company, and part of your fee will go to charity. The official website will be updated with more details, a swag shop and photos of some of our auction items very soon. |
