I added the pictures from the CSTS screening in Salt Lake City last year to the Flickr group. There are some great images of Geoff Mandel, Nicole and all of the volunteers at the screening.

Any news on this event?

I recently asked Rex Rouviere to step in as a replacement for this event and he graciously agreed to head it up. Then, only days later, David Williams volunteered to take over and see that everything was accomplished. He secured Brewvies and it looks as though we'll have the Salt Lake City screening on Thursday, October 29th. Our many thanks to Dave and Rex for jumping in at the last minute and making this happen. We're proud to have two events in Utah this year and hope to raise money this year and every year for Equality Now.

HEY!!!

I am David Williams (I also go by David D'Anna professionally) and I am aimin' to misbehave!

Brewvies Cinema Pub has in fact been secured for Thursday, October 29, 2009. Pre-registration and a meet and greet for the event will begin at 6:30 PM, with seating beginning at or before 7:00 PM.

The event entertainment will start promptly at 7:15 PM with the movie starting promptly at 8:00 PM.

This years event will be run as wild as a three ring circus, but in the good kind of way, not in the Marx Brothers or Three Stooges kind of way. I am beginning work on getting sponsors and swag providers in addition to some entertainment that will surely provide for some shiny moments.

Cost has not yet been determined, and I am taking a few different ideas into account before we release that info. We want it to be affordable, yet I like the idea that NYC used in different price levels for different swag packets. It could be a great way to not just fill the seats, but beat last years total in the same space as last year.

If typing the address from scratch, make sure you type in the www part of the address, or the host will not recognize it. We had some trouble with our host provider and we had to put a workaround up until we find a new one.
