Logan, Utah, home to Utah State University, will host the second CSTS event hosted by the Utah Browncoats in 2009. We will have prizes and special drawings at both events. More to follow.

UPDATES

1 - I contacted Equality Now over the weekend in order to obtain materials for the Utah Browncoats table at Conduit (a fandom convention in Salt Lake City). Nicole, organizer for the Salt Lake screening, will also be in attendance there and we'll have a lot of materials to distribute. We're hoping to raffle off a few items for the first screening.

2 - We have officially made our merchandise order for the Logan screening in the fall. We kept it a little lean, as we'll probably buy up leftovers from the many early screenings nationwide in order to be certain that none of it goes to waste. We plan to sell everything we can for charity.

3 - We spent the evening printing up numerous different fan materials about Serenity and Firefly for Conduit this weekend. I have so many props packed up for the Utah Browncoats table in conjunction with Brian Wiser from Done the Impossible.

1 - We gave away almost every single Equality Now flier that we had at Conduit before we were done yesterday. I believe they were probably finished off today.

2 - We contacted numerous browncoats that were not previously part of our mailing lists or Yahoo group.

Thanks. We've got a lot of good people here and good prospects for a special guest this year. Fingers crossed. Nose to the grindstone.

Due to the callous disregard of Westate Theaters, we've hit a setback which will likely push the event back to October 17th. Please check your calendars and keep your fingers crossed.

We have secured a free venue! The Logan CSTS screening will be held on October 24th. Check the website over the next few weeks for updates.
