By the way, if anybody every is in the Fresno area and wants to see the whole series on the big screen, hit me up. I have a pretty nice home theater that was put in the New York Times that makes for a very nice presentation. It has D-BOX motion systems in it so when you are watching Serenity, the whole floor moves in sync with the action on the film. The film Serenity has already been programmed for use with the seats but they haven't programmed the TV series episodes for them. Hopefully that will change in the near future.

And I might see about trying to bring out a couple D-BOX chairs to the screening of Serenity if I can get it worked out but it depends on our final choice of venue. Only 5 or 6 commercial theaters in the world have them right now so it is a rare treat to get to experience them.

August 22nd is the current planned date. I am going to talk to the parks and recreation people tomorrow if I can get a chance and see what places would be ideal for this. I am going to try and get some people together for dinner some night next week and discuss what we need to do and formulate a game plan.

It's with regret that we pass on the news that the planned CSTS event in Fresno has been cancelled.

We have recently received this update from the organiser:

We had everything ready to go but could not get permission from the city to show the film as we were planning on an outdoor event. Once it got pushed back past the August planned date, it was too late
