Hi, I'm a bit late in deciding but if no-one else has made any plans I'm thinking of doing a screening either in Manchester or Leeds. I'm the one who organised the Leeds screening in 2006. Please let me know if I'm stepping on anyone's toes. Also another question are the UK being charged by Universal for the film? (If anyone knows) I couldn't hold a screening last year because you had to pay Universal £125 in advance for the print. |

Hi! Welcome aboard! UK is being charged for the film, but perhaps you can try to work a deal with your theatre, so they pay the upfront print cost and you pay them afterward? |

Thanks Haldira, my real problem then is getting enough people to make it viable, after paying cinema and print costs, there's just no way I could swallow any of the costs. I'll wait a bit longer and see if Cptn Asmodai or quasi-hayley reply, I don't want to step on toes. |

I was over in England lately and was told that the 3 prints available were all in bad shape. I don't know how widely known this fact (or perception) is, but if lots of people think so, they might not want to go see it. Just keep it in mind. Maybe the prints are great but if enough people think otherwise, it could affect attendance. We don't want any one losing money on this. |
