Myspace pages

Hello, I want to set up a myspace page for my event. I know others have done it in the past. Since this is my first year doing this I was hoping that someone could offer some advice on the best way to do it.

I do not personally possess any design skills, I can execute basic html tags if I have a cheat sheet. My boyfriend is a little better at computer stuff than I am so he can help.

I would also appreciate direct links to existing pages - I'm rubbish as searching through the lists that turn up when I try to "search" for something.

there's a link to the main csts myspace on the maincsts.com page... if you go down to the friends list, the first 20 or so are other csts local myspace pages.

as for design....

as for the basic layout. many sites offer generators with themes.

i'm sure there are many more

also many people use myspace to do a search for their city and firefly or serenity under fav tv/movies and add people that way to spread the word. can't say as that it helped us much last year. i think i had about 3 of about 150 of the friends who said theyd love to come, actually show up. but i do believe others did have some success using that avenue[/img]

hmm. apprently jsut putting in the link works automatically. ok...

well here's another one.. a firefly one..
found under films/tv on page 22 when set to show 30 at a time. again the preview seems to not be working... made by the same guy as the other one thats not showing up.

warning: using a generator usually means you end up with a link to them somewhere at the top of your page, but its usually pretty small

Okay, my page is up. I still need to fill in a bunch of info, but it is started. I have started friending people and groups but if you have a page please feel free to friend me.
