ATTENDANCE NUMBERS - Need info for EN

If you ran or attended an event last year and you know the approximate amount of people who were there...

OR

If you are planning on hosting an event this year and have a thought on how many...

Could you pretty please weigh in here and give me you attendance numbers?

Equality Now would like to know so they can make up some shiny for everyone's screenings this year. :mrgreen:

Toronto had about 275 people. Each year we get more people and since our "new" theatre holds 800, we are hoping to get LOTS more!

Shiny stuff from EN? Nice! The bracelets were much appreciated - we got those for 2 years but probably don't need them again.

Yes, Amanda and EN are thinking up some more goodies for us. :mrgreen:

And posting for Memphis, we ended up with about 80 people in attendance. We handed out about 20 more from people who donated.

That will grow to about 900 for 2009.

We're expecting around 300 for San Antonio.

Arlington, VA had a total of 550 for '08 (two nights) but are scaling back to one night so 300 is the estimate for this year.

2006: 100
2007: 85
2008: 55

Our numbers don't look so impressed next to other cities'...but...we've always finished in the black, which is what counts.

Last year Charlotte had about 130 adults. For 2009 we are shooting for 200.

LA - 335
SD - Unknown since I wasn't involved, but about 100 I think

2007
LA - 319

2008
LA - 241
OC - 133
SD - 156

We expect to do about the same for all cities. It all depends on the size of the theater we get in LA.

The 2008 North Texas event sold out at 320.
It's possible for us to have 500 this year.

We had pamphlets for everyone last year.
They really helped spread the signal.
