Is melbourne's actually in AU? in Jen's latest update she said over AU$2300 which converts pretty closely to US$1950

$1950 is the conversion, the US $ that went to Equality Now.

The amount for Melbourne hasn't actually cleared off my Credit Card (I just spoke to the bank, who wanted me to confirm that the transaction was genuine) so I'm not sure what the exact AU donation will come out as. The amount raised by Melbourne was AUD 2,303.54.

I first attempted to make the donation to Equality Now via Paypal, which calculate the currency conversion as USD 1,936.45. But for some reason, it wouldn't complete the transaction. Instead, I ended up using Equality Now's online donation form and as I wasn't sure of what the exact currency conversion would be, I rounded it up to USD 1,950.00 via an additional donation of my own funds. Once the transaction is reported on my statements, I'll post the AUD amount donated.

Re: Melbourne donation
The joys of currency fluctuations has meant that our donation of US $1,950 has finally appeared on my credit card statement as AUD $2,259.98. As the amount raised was AUD $2,303.54, I will be making a subsequent donation to ensure that the full amount raised is donated. I will update here once it's done, so that our US donation figure can be adjusted accordingly.
