Question about taking 2 types of donations

So, we've donated to a 2nd charity in the past but this year we're considering taking up a food collection for the San Antonio Food Bank. My concern is that if we have some folks that donate cash to the food bank, does it become part of the donation to Equality Now? I'm probably overthinking this but I figured I'd ask.
