Yes, I still love seeing Serenity on the big screen, especially surrounded by a couple of hundred other fans. :)

Congratulations, Lioness - and your team - on another successful event.

Thanks. I'm still getting in some last bills then we can announce the total.
There was a lot of excitement in the theatre that day. :D

$7,940.00 U.S. has just been sent to Equality Now.

We have a couple of items we are putting up on Ebay and a Dr.Horrible/The Guild/etc screening in Sept so that amount will definately break $8,000 before we are through.
(In Cdn it is already $8,400.00)

We are so incredibly proud of the Browncoats in and around Toronto. They are indeed Big Damn Heroes.
And so is my awesome committee!

And we are not finished! Saturday, Sept. 18th, we are showing Dr. Horrible's Singalong blog along with Commentary! The Musical. We've also got The Guild and maybe one or 2 other specials.
We are holding this in the Auditorium of the S Walter Stewart Library. This 1950's building has been compared to a flying saucer and the recent renovations have paid tribute to this. What better place to see a Can't Stop The Serenity affiliate event?

S. Walter Stewart Library Auditorium
170 Memorial Park Ave.
Toronto, ON

Doors open at 7:45 for an 8:00 start.
Tickets are only $5.00!

See you there?

Once again the Browncoats show how awesome we all are. Our Dr. Horrible screening was a huge success and our total donation to Equality now is, in Canadian dollars, $8, 850.00 We'll get that translated into Americanese as soon as possible.
