Planning to drive out from Omaha, NE to Des Moines to check this out for the first time. Plus first time seeing Serenity in a theater. Who else is going to be there? |

Yeah. It will be an easy drive. Just need to make sure I'll be able to afford gas, hotel and everything. |

I want to thank Mad Norwegian Press, who publishes a bunch of Dr. Who books, for their VERY VERY generous donation of like 10 books to be in a silent auction at our event. Their web site is: http://www.madnorwegianpress.com Plus they donated 2 copies of "Chicks Dig Timelords" for door prizes! Thanks Lars! |

The T's are crossed and i's dotted... Des Moines came out with: $576.07 for Equality Now. I could write a 2-3 page letter on why we didn't do better than last year, but it wasn't for lack of trying. Needless to say, I think the lack of city qualifiers for "big" prizes and putting them on eBay really hurt us. As did the lack of something signed by a member of the cast. Im trying to figure out a way to write it, without sounding like its critical of Global, because I think they did a great job. |
