Ni Hao Browncoats!
I am the Organizer for the Albuquerque Browncoats and here are the details of our events:
This year we are again showing Serenity at the Guild Cinema on Central (
http://www.guildcinema.com/), 3405 Central Avenue NE, Albuquerque, NM, (505) 255-1848.
Tickets are $9 each, or $15 for both showings, and are available now via our online pre-sale, at
http://www.albuquerquebrowncoats.com/.
We are holding two showings this year, both on Saturday 19 June 2010.
The 1st will be at 10:45 AM (doors open at 10:30 AM and the event is over at 1:15 PM).
The 2nd will be at 1:45 PM (doors open at 1:30 PM and the event is over at 4:14 PM).
Please arrive early, as photos for costume contest judging will be taken before the event, while you are in line!
We'll be raffling off some shiny items to raise money for Equality Now (and a local charity), but discussion of this has been ommitted from our website to avoid having PayPal get excited about some sort of terms of service violation. But bring some cashy-money if you want to buy raffle tickets on-site for these items!
Also, please plan on joining us afterwards with singer/songwriter Marian Call, for coffee and live music, Saturday evening, 7:00 to 10:00 PM, at K.I.S.S. Coffee and Art Gallery (in the courtyard), 404 San Felipe St. NW, Albuquerque, NM, in Old Town (
