Have you posted to this message to the Canadian Browncoats board? This board is mostly organisers from all over the world but I know there are a number of Alberta Browncoats on the Canadian Browncoats site.

plus, they have the draw card of Jewel , but dont let that stop you organising one in Alberta, maybe just a different date?
