This was something Cedric wanted to do. It went up earlier than I thought it was going, prior to advertising it as well as we could've, but I think it is a great idea.

Most bidding for items occurs during the last day anyway, so we're going to advertise all today and tomorrow.

well, it would be nice to have something like this, but the fact that accommodations and airfare would have to be paid by whoever wins puts a lot of us out of the running... that total alone would probably be a huge percentage of what we would hope to collect in donations

we're trying to do our best *not* to spend any more money than we have to...

just my opinion... and i'm such a penny-pincher (at least, until i could clearly see that we were going to make enough money to actually have something to donate). just ask my co-coordinator who had to put up with my whining...

From what I understand, it's just Cedric - not both him and Hawke. So presumably, accomodation/travel costs are just for one person.
