A Global Team Handbook is being prepared to ensure that volunteers can build on the learnings of past teams.

As a guideline, the estimated weekly commitment for each role is as follows:

Global Event Coordinator - 6 hours

Communications Director - 5 hours
Cortex Coordinator - 5 hours
Art Director - 4 hours
Webmaster - 3 hours
Shepherd - 2 hours

Operations Director - 5 hours
Registrar - 3 hours
Sponsorship Coordinator - 4 hours
Merchandise Coordinator - 4 hours
Donation Administrator - 3 hours

These times have been based on an estimated maximum, as some periods throughout the year are busier than others, and this will vary depending on the role. Good time management could streamline activities and reduce these estimates.

I'd like to clarify that the new GEC, once elected, will be choosing the people for the Global Team. This person will have the ability to choose from those who have sent letters of application to the GSC, or to personally recruit, to build their Team.
