I wish this had been discussed with the members before action was taken. Today, organizers without a preregistration form were removed from the organiser list. ie we can no longer see very important information. I think this is unfair (and not just because my access was revoked, i'll be going back to pleb if Stuart choose a 2IC other than myself) because then those who are just a little behind the 8 ball registering are now missing out on vital information. Adelaide has been here since the first year, throwing together an event in very short notice, and putting on an event every year, and this feels a lot like punishment for the fact that we are a bit sluggish changing organiser hands. our even wont be til later, and we are in the process of sorting things out and handing over the reins. i dont kow how other organisers in the same boat feel, but a discussion before action, or at least some warning would have been nice. feels a bit like a slap in the face in return for all our hard work over the past 4 years. also revoking access to my @csts.com email account without warning was very rude. It was decided that either i would keep the account or a new adelaide@csts.com account would be set up for legitimacy and so that all important emails/proof of donation etc would not be lost from my days on global. Thanks for the love. makes me glad i'm not running an event anymore. |

Okay, thats it - you know what Miranda? I'M glad you aren't running a CSTS event this year, because I've been a part of this for less than 2 months and I'm already sick of your whining and bitterness! Almost every single one of your posts on this forum (that I've seen) have been negative, condescending or criticism. I've kept my mouth shut until now, but I'm so over your attitude its not even funny. Registration closes in 2 weeks - if you haven't pre-registered your event by now, then get a f-ing move on! As for the 'punishment'? Get over yourself! Since when do these forums (or these events for that matter) revolve around you? It seems perfectly logical that people who haven't even pre-registered their event, shouldn't be included as Organisers - how do the Global team know you're an Organiser if you haven't pre-registered? And if Adelaide has been doing this for 4 years, you think you'd be able to meet simple deadlines by now. The only person doing any 'slapping to the face' or being rude here is you. And maybe me, but only because I'm busy trying to organise my own event, and am absolutely sick of your constant bitching. |

Miranda, If you are organising an event, you will be given organiser access, Kethra is going thru deleting several old accesses. You are not on global, you are not working for CSTS at this time, if that changes, status and email will change. I have pretty much been ignoring your comments they usually speak for themselves but you have not been kind or constructive, so this is over. |
