I live in Rochester NY so i am about an hour away from the address you listed in facebook. I became a fan of firefly/Serenity jan 2008, so i am considering attending. I have never been to an Event so is there something i should know or do, or just show up with money?

Showing up with money is certainly a good thing. There will be advance sales for tickets - sometime in the near future (must bug my theater person about that).

I am hoping to schedule lots of things for the day - trivia contest, costume contest, a band and the movie. There will be raffles too.

And Geneva is just about an hour from Rochester - it depends on what section/suburb you are in. I can get to Victor in about 40 minutes and Henrietta in about 55. Your milage may vary.
