Doors will open at approximately 12:00 and event will and at 6:00.
We'll be having our annual costume contest, raffles and auction, and we'll do some kind of trivia.
I'm already pirating Samatwitch's Evil Laugh contest (best idea ever!) and we may try out the trivia bingo thing too.

We'll also be having an ancillary musical benefit at a date/location tba, and if we find any more available venue space, we may plan something else as well.

The Evil Laugh contest is actually the idea of Browncoat 2X2 (who is now the Organizer in Toronto), as Samatwitch will readily agree. It works really well.

I was able to confirm a venue last night for our auxiliary event, the Can't Stop the Music showcase. We're confirmed for July 10 at The Grotto in Fort Worth. The exact times and musician lineup is tba, but I'm hoping to include a "Special Hell" screening of Serenity and possibly an encore presentation of Dr. Horrible in the afternoon before the music starts.

CSTS Vancouver 2015 will be held Saturday, June 20th from Noon to 6:00 pm at the H.R. MacMillan Space Centre. Donations will go to Equality Now (75%) and Avalon Women's Centre (25%).

We had a phenomenal time this year (twice!) and blew our previous record to smithereens.
Earlier today I made the majority of the donation to Equality Now via credit card, in the amount of $6500. Combined with the $800 I previously sent in, that puts us at $7300 - so far. We still have one more music event next month - I'll let you know how it goes.

And I'll be back soon with more of a report, and pics!
