I just found out about this at Cyphan this weekend.
I really hope to make it out, looks awesome.
I was able to debut my Jayne costume at Cyphan, and I had a blast.
I am a member of the 501st and Rebel legion star wars costume club. but I've never had such a big reaction to any of my costumes, as I did with Jayne

heres a few pics.. I know its not screen Accurate, I hope to slowly improve it as I go.

BTW, to anyone thinking about participating in the costume contest, it's really open to anything Whedon-y (Whedon-ish?), not just Firefly. Buffy, Dr. Horrible -- heck, I guess we're going to have to include Avengers into that list pretty soon, aren't we?

Loved doing the meet 'n' greet this weekend. Cyphan's a small con, but that's really one of its charms. I think I saw Robert Picardo about half a dozen times just running into him in the halls before I saw him at his Q&A session. A few of us are going to Wizard World/Comic Con Chicago in a couple of weeks, which I expect will be a whole different thing....

Can I get some information about possibly being a sponsor and offering some items up for the auction and/or raffle? I'm a lifelong SyFy & Firefly fan, one of the founders of The Chicago Force, and frequent creator of many sci-fi shows and musicals. My husband and I already have plans to attend the event, and bring several friends with us. We also realized we might be able to contribute with some items too.
