I have a question. I was out putting up flyers at the local university advertising our June 11 event when a guy came up to me and said " If you hold the event in late September you'll get a lot more college kids." It makes sense to me, has anyone changed their event from the summer to the fall and seen an increase in attendance?

I think that would be a thing to consider if where you live is mainly a college town. For example, Portland, OR has several large schools, but it's a city with a sufficient population that we don't have to rely on that to guarantee we have numbers. However, if Ashland, OR were to put on an event, they might want to think about having it in September because there would be a huge influx of people at that time. Do you live in the sort of town/city that sees a huge and noticeable increase of people once school starts?
