Well, here's how it went: We started with a live performance with Luna-C, a local comedy troupe that does sci-fi skits at local cons. We were happy to have them. Next we had a 30 minute intro with some funny music videos available free on the web, Mosquito and Joss's intro. Dr H followed, then intermission. We showed the BDM last. The event was 4 hrs, our theater and license cost was $1150.00. We made $1300.00. We didn't do merch, we were so early we couldn't get our pre-orders in. We are going to move it to September next year to get the college kids and sell the merch. We had a vendor who sold a lot of QMX stuff, he has agreed to sell the CSTS items next year for us. He has a wi-fi credit card thing, that will help enormously. He sold about $500.00 worth of tees, maquettes, comics , etc in less than an hour. He donated above what we charged him for the table. We had 263 paying attendees, 20 more than last year. We gave out 20 passes to the event to shops that allowed us to advertise in their stores. W have some pics up, see our Facebook page Tidewater Serenity.

Looking at the photos on the Facebook page, it looks like you all pulled off an amazing event! Congratulations!! There are so many fantastic costumes, and the attendees clearly had a great time.
I particularly like the Jayne Austin Book & Gun Club!
If you can encourage all those who've posted photos to add them to the CSTS Flickr group, that'd be awesome -
