I'm glad you didn't open that auction up to people outside of Edmonton. I would have been much poorer!

Still not sure how to do open/online bidding for auction items yet. Not sure if we'd qualify for eBay charity/non-profit bidding and don't know how people would feel if the items were listed under a personal account.
Definitely an item to add to our to-do list!

In Toronto a few years back Andy Gore the CEO of QMX bid on something. He gave us a maximum bid, I had a volunteer do the bidding without knowing who it was for & Andy got it without having to pay the maximum. It worked out nicely.

That's pretty much what I've done the past two years for out-of-town bidding. Both times the item went for about half of what I had been given as a maximum bid - as you two both know!
