So, no uncomfortable church pew seating? :)
I took a look at its Facebook page - the theatre looks like a great location for an event like this.

No pews, that's for sure. This is the 5th year it will be held there - the staff at the theatre have always gone out of their way to help us make it a great event!

Looks like a great venue! We are also in an indie cinema (with a bar license), but it's a little more, uh, frontier planet vibe. ;) They've been really good to us too.

I love this venue. The place is beautiful. And it feels like is would be on one of the frontier planets in Serenity. The place is onld enough and the way it is set up just give off and energy that can nearly make you believe you are on one of those boarder moons.

I have been to a lot of events there and yeah, the seats are really comfy. There is an outdoor covered patio that can be used for vendor tables or parties.

I think the venue is perfecct for the event.

I can't wait to see what direction the CSTS South FL event is going to take this year.

SOUTH FLORIDA TAIKO DOJO to perform at Fort Lauderdale CSTS!

Tue May 29, 2012 2:49 pm

Last year, South Florida Taiko Dojo, a Japanese Drumming Group located in South Florida wowed our Serenity crowd with their electric performance. Luckily, they are going to grace our stage again this year. You will not want to miss this awesome group.

For more info, go to http://www.fushudaiko.org/classes.php

"They beat their drums in perfect unison, pounding and rattling a fierce rhythm that became almost mesmerizing. Exploding through the muggy air, the sound was loud enough to wake the dead - which was the point!!!"
