Hi,

This years event will be at Odeon Metrocentre in Gateshead, starting at 10.30am, although the Ambar area will be open from 10am so you can look at all the shiny raffle prizes and merchandise for sale.

After the screening of Dr Horrible and Serenity we're going to head up to the Ambar, where we'll hold the raffle and the quiz. There will also be a cinema poster sale/raffle including some new releases such as Avengers Assemble.

Tickets will be available from the cinema soon and will be £10 each.

Yey! Tickets are finally available!

The cancellation of ticket sales at my venue has put me behind a little bit in securing a means of ticket sales and has added a booking fee (£1) but they're finally up for £11 and I've already got mine

Just to add a couple of updates about some of the amazing items donated to this event that will be available on the day.

James Hance UK have donated an amazing 10 art prints including 'Firefrog' and 'Mal in Carbonite', Joebot has donated 3 art prints including 'River Tam and the Fireflies' and I've organised a cinema poster sale with Odeon, including Avengers Assemble, Dark Knight Rises and Prometheus posters.

Local comic book shops are also supporting us this year, Travelling man has donated a £10 gift voucher and Forbidden Planet has donated a copy of 'Joss Whedon: The Complete Companion' which will be included in the raffle.

The quiz is ready, with 4 rounds including '6 degrees of Malcolm Reynolds' and 'Into the Black' which is about the wider whedonverse.

I've also made some mini Jayne hats which are super cute and we're going to have some of these amazing home-made cupcakes, themed to the Whedonverse and Equality Now
