Melbourne is planning two affiliate events in the lead up to their Can't Stop the Serenity screening.

The first, a trivia night, is sold out!

Join us instead as we screen the Guild season 3 on 28th July from 5-7pm at
Loop Bar
23 Meyers Place, Melbourne.
Tickets just $5
Sorry but as it's a bar it's 18 and over only.

Afterwards we'll be heading over the road to Mrs Parma's for dinner. http://www.mrsparmas.com.au

Limited spaces available so reserve yours now by rsvping to events@newmelbournebrowncoats.com

The trivia night went fantastic! We sold out a few days before the event, so had a packed house of 80 people. Much fun was had including an impromptu sing the Captain Planet theme song contest and the Imperial March played on lollypop whistles (lollies and music book was one of the prizes awarded). There was also a raffle, small auction and guess the number of easter eggs in the vase competition.

Most importantly AU$612.45 was raised for Equality Now!
This is the first time we tried a trivia night as an affiliate event and it's safe to say there will be more!

Our second affiliate event was a follow on from showing seasons 1 and 2 of the Guild last year because we enjoyed it so much! We kicked off with drinks at the Loop bar before heading to the screening room at the back for The Guild season 3. It's a small venue but the perfect size for the 11 of us that braved the Melbourne cold to attend.
AU$55 was raised for Equality Now with some newcomers discovering us and about Can't Stop the Serenity!
