The Beeston Browncoats are holding a CSTS Affiliate Event this year on Saturday July 14, however, due to the success of last year they are worn out and are just having a private function to raise funds for Equality Now and local charity Rainbows Hospice: http://www.rainbows.co.uk/

We are having screenings of the Buffy the Vampire Slayer musical episode "Once More With Feeling" and "Dr Horrible's Sing-Along-Blog" , with refreshments including themed cakes, drinks and BBQ food, along with various games and colouring-in fun for the kids.

We aim to raise at least £150 (US$235) for Equality Now and £50 ($US80)for Rainbows.

We were thinking we might just have problematic food...

Our Affiliate Event went really well yesterday, everyone enjoyed themselves immensely!

We made £60 in total (US$90), so with 75% going to Equality Now and 25% going to Rainbows Hospice this means £45 (US$70) to Equality Now and £15 (US$20) to Rainbow's Hospice, which meant we met our target of raising £50 for Rainbows!!

The weather held off, and the BBQ was a sucess, we watched 'Once More With Feeling' and had a sing along, and a good time was had by all.

Now to planning our next event!
