We are a horde of Joss Whedon scholars who enjoy talking about his work and quoting from it incessantly.
We will be hosting a Can't Stop the Serenity screening here at California State University, Sacramento, on Saturday, June 21, 2014, as part of the Whedon Studies Association Conference. The conference (
http://scw6.whedonstudies.tv/) starts on Thursday and runs through Sunday.
The main attractions for the community will be a 4pm talk by Jessica Neuwirth, president of Equality Now, in Shasta Hall 113 (theater space) and the CSTS screening, starting at 8pm, also in Shasta 113. We will be selling CSTS t-shirts and patches at the screening. Please come out and help us support Equality Now! Donations accepted at the door.
