Pittsburgh's 9th annual Can't Stop the Serenity charity screening will be held on Saturday, August 16, 2014 at the historic Hollywood Theater in Dormont, PA. The doors will open at 5PM for an evening packed with all the misbehavin' we can sneak under the Alliance's radar, including games, raffles and a showing of Serenity on the big screen at 7PM. (The Hollywood will follow up Serenity with a late screening of another Joss Whedon film of their choosing. Still no word on what film that will be.)
JUST ANNOUNCED: This year we'll also have a special Browncoat music and trivia mixer at Fredo's Market Deli (just down the street from the Hollywood) from 3-5PM, where Browncoats can get great food, mingle, play team trivia to win prizes and hear a great acoustic performance from singer/songwriter Sean Faust.
And of course we're doing it all to help the shiny folk at Equality Now!
Our thanks to Geek Pittsburgh (
http://www.geekpittsburgh.com), who will be sponsoring Can't Stop the Serenity Pittsburgh again this year.
